Ross Perrot

Upper School Spanish Teacher, Outdoor Education Director, Dean of Students

Ross has worked at Telluride Mountain School since 2015 and serves as dean of students, director of outdoor education, and head of the foreign language department. Ross grew up in Arizona and England and attended The Hill School, a co-ed boarding school in Pennsylvania. He earned his degrees in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Arizona before working at Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York. In Ross’s six years at Northwood School, he served as head of the foreign language department, Spanish instructor, dorm parent, rock climbing guide, and director of the freestyle ski program. Ross has spent most of his summers since 2005 working at Camp Deerwood, a traditional all-boys summer camp in Holderness, New Hampshire, where he helps direct the rock climbing, water-skiing, and trips programs. Outside of TMS, Ross loves spending time skiing, climbing, biking, and hiking with his daughter Eleanor and his wife, Brittany.
