Emily Shoff
Upper School Humanities Teacher & Outdoor Education Coordinator
Emily Shoff has been teaching humanities at the Telluride Mountain School off and on for the past twenty years. A graduate of Colorado College, she has a Master’s in English from Middlebury Bread Loaf and an MFA in fiction from Warren Wilson. She has a deep love for baked goods, especially chocolate croissants, and with two teen daughters, she listens to an absurd amount of pop music. (She still, however, can’t remember any lyrics.) Also a writer, she’s published in various publications, including The New York Times, Sunset Magazine, and Solstice Lit. She’ll read just about anything but some of her favorite authors include F. Scott Fitzgerald, Toni Morrison, Claire Keegan, Lily King, and Haruki Murakami.
