Will Clark

Third and Fourth Grade Teacher

Will joins us for the 2024-2025 school year after a decade of teaching across the southeastern United States. After beginning his career as a P.E. instructor and coach in New Orleans charter schools, Will moved to Georgia to earn his Master's degree in English Education at the University of Georgia. In Athens, Will tutored student-athletes while a graduate student and taught ninth grade English at Clarke Central High School following graduation from UGA's College of Education. In 2020, Will made the move to Austin, Texas in order to teach middle school English at Headwaters School. In addition to his experiences in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas, Will has also taught and learned in classrooms in Oxford, England, Arusha, Tanzania, and Middlebury, Vermont. Will brings great energy to his new role as the 3rd and 4th grade teacher at Telluride Mountain School and can't wait to learn with his new students.

When not teaching, Will is an avid reader, hiker, and sports fan. He has a thirteen year old Golden Retriever named Chipper who also loves the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Will, Chipper, and Will's partner Kate Reese are beyond excited to join the Telluride community!
