Carl Hobert

Carl Hobert is on the faculty at Belmont Hill School in Massachusetts , and is an accomplished educator of national repute. Not coincidentally, his personal and professional interests closely parallel those of the Mountain School mission. Most notably, he is the founder of Axis of Hope, an organization dedicated to providing international conflict prevention skills to future leaders, the students of today. Carl’s resume details an extensive background in foreign languages, as he believes that the understanding and mastery of language can help to bridge cultural divides and foster better international relations.

He holds a BA in French and Political Science from Middlebury College, a Masters in Spanish from Middlebury College , and a Masters in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University . Carl has a wife and three daughters and lives in Framingham , Mass.
