Pamela Sante graduated from Ohio State University with a BSBA, majoring in Accounting. She worked in corporate accounting departments for eight years before moving to Telluride, Colorado. Hired by The Peaks Controller, Albert Roer, Pamela was part of the team that opened The Lodge at Mountain Village, which along with The Peaks was a Wyndham property. At Wyndham, Pamela met Susan Schaefer, and shortly afterward, they started Mountain Ledgers.
Mountain Ledgers has been providing accounting services to all sizes of businesses for almost ten years. While Pamela has worked with many businesses over the years, some of her larger clients have included Douglas Tueller and Tueller and Associates, The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Steeprock Jointery. Her responsibilities include accounting functions, human resources duties and administrative functions. She has worked closely with CPAs to help generate income tax returns and has experience with forecasting, budgeting, audits and formulating business plans.
Pamela recently joined the Telluride Hospital District Board of Directors and among other things, helped create their 2010 Strategic Plan. Pamela was a volunteer firefighter for over five years and she still volunteers as an EMT – Basic. She currently lives with her husband, Emil and together they have two children; Tirsa, age 2 and Zander, age 13 months.
