The adventure bug and tomboy way of living began in the San Juan Islands where I grew up sea kayaking. When I hit the mainland, I took off running up mountains and down rivers. I studied health and wellness at Colorado State University while teaching and facilitating the Outdoor Adventure Program and High Ropes Course in Fort Collins, CO.
My work experience is in business administration, media and outdoor education. Most recently I have been working as a freelance writer, graphic designer and filmmaker. I am no stranger to non-profits having worked with Mountainfilm, The Ah Haa School, The Telluride Academy and The Telluride Film Festival since 2002.
I live with my husband, Conor and our son, Liam in Telluride, which has stood as my base camp since 2001. The community here is very supportive and adventure is right out our door. I continue to learn about and support experiential education and adventure therapy and am happy to be working with a school that has similar philosophies.
