Emily teaches Upper School humanities and sixth grade math. She has an MFA in Fiction from Warren Wilson College, a Master’s in English from Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English, and B.A. in English from Colorado College. She is an avid writer and writes about mountain living for regional publications. When she’s not hanging out with her family— husband Andy and their two girls Siri and Quincy—or drinking coffee and trying to write, she can be found either outside on the trail or down at the hockey rink dreaming about being a better hockey player. She has lived in Telluride for 14 years. Prior to the moving to Telluride, Emily taught computer literacy in Tanzania and 4th and 5th grade at the Arbor School in Portland, Oregon.
