Tiffany is one of the lead teachers in the Montessori program. She grew up in Minnesota and was always involved with children, sports or a combination of the two. After studying Health Sciences at Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, Tiffany went on to work in sport specific training at Acceleration Minnesota. While working there she realized she enjoyed training with the younger athletes over the older professional athletes. She got an assistants job at a local Montessori School and fell in the love with the Montessori philosophy.
Tiffany went back to school at the Montessori Training Center of Minnesota to complete her AMI Primary Montessori degree while completing her Masters of Education at Loyola College in Maryland.
Tiffany landed in Telluride in 2001 and quickly joined the Telluride Montessori School. After three great years there she took some time off from teaching to play in the mountains and have three wonderful children. Tiffany rejoined the Mountain School in the winter of 2015 and is so happy to be at school with her children Hannah (4th grade), Tanner (2nd grade), and Boden (Montessori).
Outside of school Tiffany enjoys all Telluride has to offer and spends most of her time int he outdoors hiking, mountain and road biking, hockey and getting the kids out, exploring and having fun.
